Lost it 是一个短语(phrase),由动词 lose 和代词 it 组成。

Lose one's temper 和 lose one's mind 都是跟 lose it 相关的「近亲」表达。
Lose one's temper
/luːz wʌnz ˈtem.pər/
1:I completely lost my temper. I was shouting and swearing.
2:He's usually calm, but he lost his temper when they missed the deadline again.
3:You should apologise for losing your temper over such a small thing.
Lose one's mind
/luːz wʌnz maɪnd/
💡 Lose one's mind 比 lose it 程度更重。
1:That's the third time this week I've lost my keys — I think I must be losing my mind.
2:I'm going to lose my mind if I have to sit through another meeting like that.
3:He looked at me like I had lost my mind when I suggested the idea.
Lose one's touch:不是「失去联系」,是「某项技能不如从前了」(比如 He's lost his touch as a chef = 他做菜没以前好了)
Lose out:意思是「吃亏、处于劣势」,不是「消失」(比如 We lost out to a cheaper competitor = 我们输给了一个更便宜的竞争对手)
Lose one's shirt:是「损失惨重」,不是真的丢衬衫(比如 He lost his shirt in the stock market = 他在股市里赔惨了)
✅ 要表达「弄丢东西」时,先提物品再提「it」:比如先问 "Did you see my keys?" 然后说 "I lost it",这时候的 it 指 keys,对方就不会误会。
跟老板或客户沟通时,换成 I lost my composure(我失态了)、I became very frustrated(我感到非常沮丧)或 I couldn't control my emotions(我没能控制住情绪)。
(I'm going to lose it! = 我快忍不住了!);现在进行时 I'm losing it!
